WP Super cache keeps refreshing homepage

I am seeing this on all websites I have WP Super Cache installed. So far I tried 6. Is there anyone that can confirm this is a bug?

I am also seeing this, in particular on our https sites. (all using .htaccess method) I tried un-checking “extra homepage checks” in the advanced settings, but see no difference. It has been this way since at least January.

I am moving our https sites to WP Fastest Cache which does work (but is ad riddled / gimpware). WP Fastest Cache also requires an edit to remove the woocommerce products exclusion the author has added. But it works.

I have the exact same thing! Hope to see this resolved or i will have to stop using this plugin…

I have switched to WP Fastest Cache and all problems are gone: my homepage and all other pages & posts keep the cached version until TTL expires (1day). This means for me that my site is correct and somehow WP Super Cache is not working properly. Because of the extended functionality i prefer WP super cache: i hope the authors can fix the issue ??

You all do realize that WP Fastest (?) Cache clears ALL files when something changes ?

All my pages are completely static and are only updated weekly. So that would not matter.

It is an option:

New Post: [checkbox] Clear all cache files when a post or page is published

Change theme files or settings, mark a woo product as in stock etc.. and you’ll need to clear the cache manually for the change to be visible.

This probably has something to do with the “cache rebuild” option in the “Advanced” tab.
Uncheck this option, and see if it works better.

Both posts have been around for a while now, but so far I haven’t seen any progress on this matter.

I still have been unable to resolve this option. I have tried pretty much every combination of options there is. Still every 1-2 hours the frontpage is re-generated. Right now I have set garbage to 0 and preload to 0. Yet 1 minute ago I visited the page and the timestamp updated.

Just test Comet Cache for a while, if preload is not necesary.

I have the same issue, this happened since I was trying to install redis object cache plugin. I already uninstalled the plugin but still the same issue. I’ve try to cleaning the plugin data with options optimizer plugin but I can’t find the files names data. Please help.

I switched to W3Totalcache, it’s way better, depends on your site structure.

W3TC is utter crap, sorry.
