WP Super cache keeps refreshing homepage

  • I recently switched from W3Totalcache to WP supercache because the first does not properly support PHP 7.0.

    However I noticed that it is not keeping the cache of my homepage. Everytime I check the page source the timestamp has updated. Other pages are properly cached.

    I have already disabled the additional homepage check and I left the preload cache at 0. I also enabled garbage notification email that says nothing was purged.

    How can I fix this?

  • I agree that after testing both and reading dozens of blogs on the topic, I will never use W3TC again. It might be good, but only for someone who exactly knows what he is doing and understand all our cache and servers…
