First of all, I dont fully understand how Caching files and pages work, even after reading up on it. I know a little bit, but obviously not enough so I have a few questions I’m hoping you can help me out with.

    “WP Super Cache settings”:

1: In “Preload” -When do you use “Preload Cache Now”?

2: In “Easy” -When do you delete (if at all) Cache?

3: In “Content” there’s “Regenerate Cache Stats”. Do I have to click that every time a change is made in my Site (new post/page/plug-in and changes made in .php files etc.)?

4: When a change of Theme is made, do all Cache need to be deleted?

5: How about the “Rewrite_rules”? Update when changes are made?

Maybe too many questions at once and they pretty much coveres the entire WP Super Cache Settings-menu. ?? -this is probably common knowledge to a lot of you, but I’m struggeling a bit to “get” all of this…

    Nobody?

    1. Whenever you like. Just do it!
    2. If you change your theme or add a widget to your sidebar perhaps. The cache is cleared automatically for most common actions.
    3. No, just when you want to update the numbers on that page.
    4. Yes if you want to make the change visible on all pages immediately. I usually “Preload Cache Now” to refresh things.
    5. They only need to be updated when the plugin says they have to be. Once usually.
