  • I’m not surprised this is happening, you could use PHP mode in WP Super Cache but the restricted site access plugin would have to be modified to support this. Not an insurmountable problem.

    We already use WP Super Cache in PHP mode and it works very satisfactorily from a performance standpoint.

    What is required to make access type plugin compatible with super cache? Are you able to give me a few pointers in how integration might be achieved?

    Look in plugins/wp-super-cache/plugins/ for some existing plugins. Also the developer docs and wp-cache-phase1.php where content is served.

    If the majority of page views are restricted then you might want to modify the cache_key for anonymous users so they won’t see supercache files, or the other way around …
