• Hi I have a question about WP Super cache and basically the cache feature altogether. I realized today that I had the WP no external links plugin activated by mistake. I didn’t mean to have this plugin active as I use the WP Eclipse link cloaker instead. But because I had the WP No external plugin activated It is serving up this message on the screen when someone clicks a link on my blog… “This page demonstrates link redirect with “WP-NoExternalLinks” plugin. You will be redirected in 3 seconds.”

I definitely do not want this appearing. So I deactivated the WP no external links plugin and deleted it. However the next day this problem is still occurring even though the plugin has been deactivated and deleted. So my question is how do I get the cached pages to update through the WP Super cache plugin so that the updated page is being loaded instead of the previous version with the WP no external plugin active?

    Thanks In Advance
    Rick

    Empty your page cache.

With WP Super cache do I just need to click the button delete cache? Or do I have to do it another way? I just started using this plugin so I wasn’t sure and didn’t want to mess something up by doing the wrong thing.

    Thanks

Click on the “Delete Cache” button. No point making it another way if there’s a button to do! ??

Delets Cache button on the Admin toolbar does not clear cache for me. WP 3.3.1, SC 1.0. Regenerating stats, restarting plugin, etc. show cached items untouched.

The “Delete Cache” button on the amdin bar should only delete the cached files for the current page. If not can you try debugging in the plugin. Post the output to a pastebin and post the url here please!

You’ll have to use the “delete cache” button on the settings page to delete all the cache pages.

Thanks! What happens when you make a plugin so good, people forget how it works!
