wp-table-reloaded and line breaks

  • I have yet another formatting question when using WTR: Is there an option or snippet of CSS that will cause WTR *not* to add a newline after the final row of a table?

    Context: I am trying to place a WTR table and an embedded map side-by-side on this page. As you can see it currently runs only top and bottom rather than side by side even though the column is wide enough to accommodate both elements.

    Since I have used embedded maps elsewhere on the side alongside text, I believe that WTR is adding the line break in this case. Is there a way to code this not to include that last line break?

  • Hi,

    actually the column is not wide enough to hold both elements. The table is (on my Firefox 3.5) 274px wide, the iframe is 350px wide, while the holding column is only 605px wide.

    There also is no linebreak added by WP-Table Reloaded.

    So, to get the iframe next to the table, you should at first decrease its width.
    Then I recommend, putting both into separate <div>s, which you can style with the float attribute. (The left one will get float:left; while the right one gets float:right;)
