wp-table-reloaded – search box disappears

  • We love wp-table-reloaded, but are having a consistent problem.

    We use it on this URL:

    Sometimes the search box is there sometimes it is not. Earlier today it was not showing up. The company president called me to ask why it was gone. I checked, and it was gone.

    We’ve had this problem for a while. I logged in to see if anyone had made any changes. They hadn’t. I didn’t even hit Update…I did NOTHING and now it was back!

    We need it to be back and STAY back. It’s frustrating because we cannot isolate what would be causing it to be gone sometimes and appear at others.

    Please help!!

    thanks for your post.

    I just took a look at your site in Google Chrome and with Firefox and the search is working fine.
    I couldn’t spot anything that is wrong, so I’ll need to wait until you report that the search is broken.

    OK…It happened again.

    The strange thing is, it seems like we updated the tables one time (just one of them), and the search boxes didn’t go away.

    This time, we updated two of the tables, and it went away for all of them.

    AFAIK, both times we updated, we did it with line-edits, not uploading a full table.

    how can i add the sorting functionality with the table.?

    Hi,

    you need to enable them in the options of WP-Table Reloaded first. Then, check if your theme has calls to wp_footer(); in its “footer.php” and if the JavaScript code is added to the HTML source.
    If you still don’t see the sorting feature, there might be a JavaScript conflict going on. In that case, please post the URL to the page with your table, so that I can check this.
