WP-Table Reloaded Settings Not Available, Plugin Not Working
-
Hi Tobias – thanks for this plugin.
I’ve used it successfully on my local (laptop) and staging (DreamHost) servers, but I am now trying to use it on my client’s server and having problems.
Briefly, the problem is that the plugin never shows up under the Settings menu. So I have no way to interact with the plugin’s settings.
I installed the plugin (have tried both WP’s auto installer option, as well as manually downloading and installing the plugin), and then activate it. But it does not get listed under Settings.
I’ve deactivated all other plugins (so ruling out plugin conflict), and switched to the default theme (ruling out issue with my custom theme). The problem is still there, can’t access settings and the plugin does not work.
I am leaning towards this being a problem with the client’s server, but wondering if you can offer any additional suggestions for troubleshooting this.
I did import my database (via WP’s import option under Tools) from my staging server to the client’s server BEFORE installing the plugin. Could that be the problem – perhaps the fact that the database already had some plugin-related tables (imported from my staging server), prior to installation… could that be causing the Settings to not work?
The server:
PHP Version 5.2.13
MySQL version: 5.0.89Plugin: Version 1.7
Thanks for any suggestions, assistance.
Best,
David
