WP Telegram sends duplicated posts

    Hi!

    I’ve encountered a bug when my posts are duplicated in Telegram. I have no idea why it happens but it can occur from time to time. I’ve already tried the following:
    1) I set post sending delay to 60 minutes (but still duplicated posts can be send after 5 minutes after posting)
    2) Unchecked ‘Send when an existing post is updated’
    3) Checked the logs file but haven’t found any useful information there

    Any ideas how to solve this? Maybe code solutions?

    Hi,

    Usually, setting 1 minute delay in posting should be enough to fix such issues. If you still face the issue even after setting a delay of 60 minutes, I would suggest to share the logs with our support on Telegram – @WPTelegramSupport.

    Note: DO NOT share the logs here on this public forum.

    Thank you @irshadahmad21, I contacted your support team on Telegram and it looks like the issue is resolved!

    For the record, what we saw from the logs is that the post was sent to Telegram and then after 27 minutes it was updated with Send to Telegram option enabled on the post edit page and thus it was sent to Telegram again.

    Send to Telegram option on the post edit page overrides what you have saved in plugin settings.
