• Hello, dear author!

Your plugin is awesome as I may see from the examples given in this forum, but I can not make it work. I will try to summzrize the problem.

1. I have got PHP 5.3 with cURL enabled.
2. I visited Goggle Developers and registered my personal API-key just as it is written in you instruction.
3. I deleted the referer and made the window empty just as you usually reccommend in this case.

And after going through all these steps I have got nothing instead of a beautiful video-gallery. Can you help me?

Sure! but I think you’re smart enough to know what I’m going to ask next ?? You kind of left off without really saying where it’s failing for you.

Can I see a shortcode code, url, or more info on what you’re getting?

Hello!

The shortcode I use to embed user`s video is this one:
.

I have created a special sample-page for you (you may look at that): https://www.fabians.ru/sample-page-for-kentfarst/

On the page given above I embedded the shortcode according to the rule for a certain channel:

If you need I can give you all possible information and access to my site to fix the problem. Maybe there is some problem with the server?

Thanks!

With the v3 API I had changed the way user modes are handled. Its basically like a playlist now. From the WP Theater FAQ

When using YouTube’s v3 API, why does my user name not work anymore for user modes?

This is to avoid an extra request from YouTube. Since YouTube automatically does a Uploads playlist, it is much easier to use that instead. So for v3, user and playlist modes are identical except for the titles.

To find your uploads playlist go to your user’s channel home and scroll down to and hover over the “Uploads” section title (not menu button). A play button will appear that links to your uploads playlist. This url has the playlist ID that should be used. Odd, I know. A bit of a PITA, I know.
