WP Toolbar not showing up for Subscribers.

  • My default setting for new members is subscribers, however the toolbar for the profile dropdown does not show for them. When I change the user profile role to contributor or higher it shows up, but not for subscriber role. I am not very good at coding, so please if you try to help, be basic :), appreciate the help in advance!

  • I would guess this is something caused by theme or plugin.

    What theme are you using and more important – which user management plugins (if any)?

    Simply Extended Pro and No management plugin yet, was looking at some though to see if that would help fix the issue.

    Switch to a twenty-something WP default theme and see what’s happening.

    New to wordpress, if i switch themes I can switch back with no issues? I am not using a child theme.

    AFAIK, yes. If you want to be extra-careful, you can wait for others to reply as well.
