WP Touch 3.3 slowing down WP admin

  • I just have done extensive searching about why my wordpress admin was so slow lately, but the front part was as fast as usual.

    Only admin was affected.

    As soon as I desactivated WP Touch 3.3 plugin everything is back to normal speed.

    If I reactivate this plugin, admin is slow again.

    Anybody else have the same issue ?

    Answering to myself : And yes, I have tested with all plugins desactivated, only WP Touch active.

    Did two confirmation posts about the problem get deleted, mine included?

    I am having this same issue. I am guessing some tracking image is hanging, causing WP Admin pages to load up to 10 seconds.

    @esmi : It’s obviously the same issue here, and we can confirm it is related to WP Touch plugin and not some conflict of some sort with theme or other plugin.
    But if as per the rules of the forum JeepBoat must open a new thread, then so it be, it will even be more visibility for this annoying issue.

    @hothbricks: These forums have guidelines. Please read them. As you will see, one of these guidelines – entitled Where to Post – specifically states:

    Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

    It seems to be running much faster for me today without even upgrading to 3.3.1. Perhaps simply disabling WP Touch and re-enabling did it? Or perhaps there was a tracking gif server that was timing out?

    WordPress: 3.9.1
    WPTouch: 3.3

    I am upgrading to 3.3.1 now…

    Just upgraded to 3.3.1 and that works as well.

    Looks like this 3.3.1 version is not producing the same issue like 3.3 used to, at least for now.
    Thanks to the plugin creator to take this issue in consideration.

    when i install WPTouch: 3.3.1 bellow massage shown
    The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
    what can i do.
