WP Touch no longer displays comment count

A recently noticed that the comment count is no longer working when using the WPTouch plugin on a mobile device. I am using the Disqus commenting system. The sites Desktop theme correctly displays the comment count under each post. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
