WP trying to show images using https (no SSL site)

  • Hi,
    my site https://photography.news doesnt have a SSL. Therefore all the site content should be served up over http.

    However, all thumbnails on the site are not displaying. Inspecting them shows that for some reason the image link for them starts with https.

    I cant find anyone where you can set the media settings to http?

    If anyone could shed some light on this or offer a solution i’d be really grateful.

  • Hi. When I inspected a couple of the ‘missing’ thumbnails on your homepage, I don’t see https but I do see that the ‘missing’ images contain a CDN. I think the problem must be with your CDN because when I copy the image address into my browser, I can see the image, and when I go back to your website, I can then see the image!

    Are you sure that your CDN is configured correctly? It may not be pulling photos from your site frequently enough for some reason.
