• I find it to be a great plugin, but poor documentation.
It’s scattered all over several sites, short videos that only explain part of a process, and Shortcodes that come up “short”.

    Hi jwitherspoon,

What are you call poor documentation ? Can we improve it and how to improve it ? Not enough examples ?

Please give us more informations, and if you like to help, you are welcome.

    Cheers,

I’m sorry about the “rant” yesterday, but I’m frustrated with
    some of the documentation, anyway….

I love the plugin and have a page of 22 PDF’s and a Cart in the
sidebar widget. Use access 2337 because I don’t want anybody
going to this page until everything is working and tested.

    You can view it here…
    Access: 2337
    https://prescriptionforhealthyliving.com/anxiety-depression-stress/

This all works fine and “Checkout” goes right to
PayPal with everything in the Cart listed and totaled – OK so far.

DON’T GO PAST THE PAYPAL SCREEN – YOU WON’T GET YOUR PURCHASE…

I uploaded a sample PDF to my Media Library and purchased
    it thru another PayPal account.

    It debited my purchase account
It deposited to my sales account less $0.36
PayPal sent emails with transaction details to both
    And then, no more…

I didn’t get a link to download my purchase.

I used the Shortcode in the instructions on the product
“add to cart” button which I understood would send an
    email with a download link.

    This is the sample:
    [wp_cart_button name=”My Download” price=”5.00″
    file_url=”https://example.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/ebook1.pdf”%5D

    This is what I used:
    [wp_cart:Review On Anxiety:
    price:1.97:file_url=”https://prescriptionforhealthyliving.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Review-On-Anxiety.pdf”%5D

This code seems very different from the original simple button code
because of the “…” around data that before was name:PRODUCT NAME:

    Somethings missing somewhere ??

Would someone please respond to this problem so I can continue with the site?

    Dear jwitherspoon,

Sorry to hear that, but put 2 stars, no donation, and argue about features who are not implemented, frustrate me, a lot. Specially about the doc, who is given, on the first display of the plugin, with lots of real examples to simplify the start of any users.

From many years now I give my time for free on this plugin, and received on 30 donations and only 10 codes snippet helps.

There is not a features like what you ask in WUSPSC, but you can ask it to the Ultra-Prod forum.

And if you love this plugin, and like I spend time on your problem, the minimum is to give a good note, or give a positive help to improve it. Not try to get, get, get all time without have a notion of exchange.

    Cheers,
    Mike
