WP Update fails

  • Since a few weeks I get a daily mail telling me I should update to WP 4.9.8. The automated update would have failed.
    When I do the update manually I get:
    The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php

    I am lost now…
