WP upgrade broke plugin; can't reinstall; home page broken

    Yesterday I went to upgrade all my plugins and wordpress and this morning kalipatrick.com is showing the [robo-gallery id=”3405″] on my HOME PAGE!!

    When I went into wordPress I temporarily got a message saying that because some file hadn’t been found, Robo Gallery was deactivated, but it didn’t show up in any list of plugins, deactivated or otherwise. (Sorry I didn’t capture the message.)

    So naturally I went to redownload/install it and I can’t!! I get:
    Installing Plugin: Robo Gallery – Photo Gallery and Images Gallery 1.8.7

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/robo-gallery.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/kalipatrick/kalipatrick.com/wp-content/plugins/robo-gallery/

    Plugin install failed.

    Please advise, as this is my HOME PAGE!

    Could you please tell me which Robo Gallery version did you have before version update?

    It’s not install bec. you didn’t uninstall old version and target folder already exist as result installer trying to create target folder which already exist.

    Ok I opened the ticket.

    I don’t know what version I had before the update b/c I can’t get at it. I’m assuming it was the latest version before that…I’d been updating as I see them released (I try to keep up).

    i don’t know how to delete the folder it’s talking about if that’s what you’re suggesting… i do everything through the wordpress UI and am not sure how I’d get to that file without specific instructions. thank you.
