WP users list not able with Ultimate member ?

    Hi,
    Before I installed Ultimate Member, I have a list of users in WP,
    now I want to modifier le detail of this old member, I used UM to open the old list, it doesn’t work, it cannot refind the old list, and I used the reset password, to open it,
    it’s not a same member.
    What is the problem ?
    I wish someone to explain me.

    Hi @ditout

    Are you trying to edit the user profile via UM Profile Form? When you install UM, it generates pages and one of them is the user page that has a page slug /user/.

    Hi,
    Yes, I will edit the new users in using the user profile of UM,
    but I have the old users on the WP users list, I want to modify the old users,
    but it seems the UM cannot connect my old users, isn’t it ? or do you have any solution
    that I could modify the old users in using UM ?

    Are the old users have the user role the same as the new users? Also, what details do you want to update to the old users via UM Profile form?

    Yes, they are the same role as subscribe.
    I want to modify the old user’s photos.

    Does the old user show in the Member Directory? Also, what happens when you edit an old user in the Profile Form with an administrator account? Does the Profile Form show on the profile/user page?

    Hi Champ,
    Yes, the old users are in the member directory,
    When I used the UM login, I cannot open the user’s profile,
    so I used the password reset, to open the old user’s profile,
    I find the UM want to set up a new user at the same name of the old user.
    because I didn’t find any detail ( photo, description.. ) of the old user.

    Hi Champ,
    Yes, I find my site has 2 login and register,
    one is UM, another is WP,
    I created the new user in using UM,
    the WP has not link with UM,
    I wanted to remove the WP’s register and login, but it is not possible,
    because I could not open my dashbord.

    Are you able to remove the Menu items in the WP Admin > Appearance > Menus?

    Hi Champ,
    in the Menu items in the WP Admin > Appearance > Menus,
    there’s no WP login and register, So I cannot remove it.
    but there’s UM login and register.

    I suggest that you contact the theme developer and see if there’s a filter hook to disable those menu items.
