  • i am on AIM now as piginzen if you have time to chat…
    thanks so much,
    mat

I am also having the same problem as piginzen. Did you find a solution?

Well, it seems like GaMerZ has been enlisted into National Servive and would not be able to have access to this forum til 26 June at least. Thats how the Singapore Military goes. 3 weeks of non-contact from the outside world.
I also face the same problem even after following the instructions. Just wondering if its because of a conflict with my other plugins.
Perhaps we should do a list of plugins whereby there is information of all the plugins; their description, their instructions and more importantly, what are the plugins that will conflict with it, etc.

Thanks so much for writing, J3r0m3.
I did that install step too… I have no clue!

I had already done the install step but I repeated it anyway. I got an error telling me the table already existed. But it is now working so there you go. Now I spotted that a member name points at a wp-stats page which doesn’t exist for me. I’m using the new plugin version for stats so I’ve changed this to the correct path and it works fine. What I would like though is that the URL for the page being visited shows on screen instead of having to hover the mouse over the URL link. Anyway of doing that?

    I’ve sorted it thanx.

Still havent got it to work…
    Even after that install file…
    Any other suggestions?

Any idea how to get the index page to just show the usernames that are online, instead of giving a number-of-users with a link? (To view my blog, you have to be both registered and logged in, so there will never be 0 users.) TiA.

    bump

I have been running this plug in and have been very happy with it. However, a mysterious SQL syntax error has been appearing in my Post Preview. To try to track this down I deactivate the plug ins one by one. It was this plug in causing the problem.
What I would liek to know is – is it a real problem or a spurious error that I and my users can live with, seeing this error every time they preview a post? Or am I causing an underlying database error by rnning this plug in?
And …. although the plug in is deactivated the code is still working although the SQL syntax error has departed!
    Advice please?

I see what is probably the same error and have done for ages – worry not ??

Thank you. I wouldn’t worry if it were just my own blog but it is a group resource and I am dealing with very computer-illiterate users who find such things worrisome.
As I got rid of the error by deactivating the plugin and the plugin continues to work regardless – I guess I have the best of all possible worlds, don’t I? ??

Any idea on my question? hope hope hope =)

ok how did ya get it to show up within the WP on your site i like that … i would like to implement that on my site as well…

guess Gamerz isn’t around now eh ?
