WP Widget UI is not updating my site

  • i am having a problem where re-arranging the order of WIDGETS or re-arranging or ADDING text in widgets is not resulting in an UPDATE of my site.

    i am using Safari.

    I am clicking UPDATE every time i make a change.

    i am re-loading the pages and in some cases opening a NEW page in order to test if the results have taken and they have not.

    any ideas?
