WP wiki plugin private wikis visibility

  • Hello everyone.
    Im running in some trouble to setup wiki pages visibility. By default all pages/vikis/post I’m creating are private and managed by groups capabilites. Only registred users can read the content. All works fine for pages and posts but not wikis. If wiki page is set to public, main wiki page lists all sub wikis but when I setup subwiki as private they are not visible on main wiki page anymore, but can be find by wordpress search tool (so it is not user access issue). Is there a way to make subpages visible?

    current settings:
    Wordpress 4.4.2
    Groups 1.10.1
    Private by Default 1.0
    Wiki 1.1.0.3
    WP Hide Post 1.2.2 (checked if deactivate change sth in this case but is not)

    Related User/Groups/Access settings:
    User’s groups:
    Registered
    visitor
    Groups capabilities:
    Registered: no capabilities
    visitor: groups_read_post
    read_private_pages
    read_private_posts
    read_private_wikis
    Capabilities defined:
    groups_read_post
    read
    read_private_posts
    read_private_pages
    read_private_wikis (created manualy)
    Wiki Access Restrictions:
    Wiki — Private: read_private_wikis (main wiki page)
    — Ruby scripts — Private: read_private_wikis (subwiki)

    I would appreciate any help and ideas if it is possible to change behave or fix setup if wrong. Regards

    So far I made workaround to make it work, I manually linked subwikis but it is not what I installed wiki plugin for ??

    Hey there archenix,

    I’ve tested this on my sandbox site and private subwikis are not being displayed when they are being searched for with WP default search.

    Maybe you could try our Membership 2 and setup a “default membership” that is being applied to all registered users and protect wikis by that?
