• I am pulling my hair out about this one, basically I have installed the WP XML Site Generator on my site https://www.manxscenes.com.

Whilst configuring GWT it asks you to verify a www or non-www version of your site, can someone tell me which version I should submit in GWT?

    https://www.manxscenes.com
    manxscenes.com

Thanks for any advice, I have searched this site and got a little confused!

  • you have to add html tag or html file to root folder of your website
you can use wordpress seo plugin which will solve your problems
it generates xml site map and you can add html tag for verifying your website.

It is a standard requirement of GWT. For this there is no need for any confusion. You can use the www version or the other version of your choice. However, the best is to use the same URL that you use as your site URL so that there won’t be any future problems from GWT. And try to stick with the same URL.

Edit: Because you are using a URL without www, I suggest using manxscenes.com as your preferred URL.
