WP2.9.2 ‘media’ images not shown

  • I have newly installed a WordPress 2.9.2 ,
    after uploading images (not shown), but the dialogue box: Meng ask me the ‘user name and password’ .
    I tried several kinds of user name and password, such as: “admin of blog , FTP , and database …”, none was right .
    What kind of “user name and password” is that then?
    I checked the upload folder is a writable permissions -777
    Blog without images , does not right to me .
    Confused .
    Please help .
