While I haven’t tested it, I can’t think why it shouldn’t work.

Oh yeah, one more thought:

pulling feeds of internal sites across the network is *really* resource intensive. You wouldn’t notice much on a half-dozen blogs, but as you get bigger, your site will slow down. Then crash. ??
