WP5 doesn’t log verification

After updating to Wordpres 5.01 it doesn’t seem like the email verifications are getting logged any more. Users who has been clicking the verification email link are still showing as red under Verification Status. They can log-in 1 time but then have to send email verifications again. This is running in a loop.

Anybody else have this happening under WP 5.01?
