wp_ tables are missing

Hi everyone I’m a web design student so I have absolutely no clue about this.
I did everything right according to tutorials I’ve seen, to install wordpress with xampp but then I get this error message:

wp_posts: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_posts’ doesn’t exist
wp_comments: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_comments’ doesn’t exist
wp_links: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_links’ doesn’t exist
wp_options: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_options’ doesn’t exist
wp_postmeta: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_postmeta’ doesn’t exist
wp_terms: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_terms’ doesn’t exist
wp_term_taxonomy: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_term_taxonomy’ doesn’t exist
wp_term_relationships: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_term_relationships’ doesn’t exist
wp_termmeta: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_termmeta’ doesn’t exist
wp_commentmeta: Table ‘wordpress3.wp_commentmeta’ doesn’t exist

i have deleted my wordpress folder and redownloaded it, then remade my database but it’s still the same.
Please help.
