wp_actionscheduler_ tables listing things that were never installed.

    Hi,

    I am seeing the following when I look at the table tab (see below). The only thing that may have been installed for testing is WooCommerce. I have seen this list on one or two other sites I have managed. In some cases other sites show these wp_actionscheduler_actions tables with WooCommerce as the only lisitng as it is installed on these sites. And on other sites there the wp_actionscheduler_ tables are not installed at all?

    If I examine the tables the only thing in there are actions for Rank Math SEO in the wp_actionscheduler_actions table and logs in the wp_actionscheduler_logs table.

    Not sure what to make of any of this.

    Hi,

    “Known plugins” means “known at www.ads-software.com, as plugins that create a table with this name”. i.e. They are potential candidates. There’s no good technical mechanism in WP for saying definitively which ones, if any, of those have previously been installed.

    Rank Math SEO recently started using the same tables, and it will be added in the next release as a possibility.

    As the label says, WP-OPtimize lists the “Known plugins that use this table name”. It means that other plugins might use it, but it’s not known to WP-Optimize.

    The actionscheduler library is used by more and more plugins, which is why you see those lists, even though most of them were never installed.

    Ok, so these are listings of plugins that are known mouse these tables.

    It seems odd to me as I never installed these plugins. My initial reaction is that somehow the site got hacked with these installed and then removed. It does seem odd.
