wp_list_pages and current_page_item

Hello together,

discussed a thousand times, but I didn’t find a solution.

I’ building a new theme: https://pl24024.macbay.de/_testblog/
That theme is going to have a horizontal navigation, where the active tab (current_page_item) is highlighted.

The problem is, that I want to include the blog itself (home) as first tab. So, I could do that manually. But I have to give it the class “page_item” OR “page_item current_page_item”.

Just giving it “page_item” wouldn’t show it highlighted when opening the page. Adding “current_page_item” highlights it, but of course it still is highlighted when I click on another site, so that I have 2 current_page_item links.

Anyone has a clue how to add “home” to “wp_list_pages”?
