wp_list_pages() page exclude not working

Hi, after switching to 2.8, wp_list_pages(‘exlude=2,3,50…’) is not working anymore. I can use the include command which works fine.

When I try to use the exclude command, all the pages get shown.

Has anyone come across this or got a fix?
