wp_mail and sendmail

Hi there,

it seems to be that a contact form plugin uses “wp_mail” to send stuff. And “wp_mail” uses a “phpmailer” do to that. So here is the question:

I don’t have sendmail (or s.th. similar) on my hosting. So I would prefer to have wordpress using a mailbox on a different machine to send the messages

how do I do that?
