wp_options: Incorrect key file; try to repair it

  • Hello everybody,

    Today I found that my blog was saying “Error establishing a database connection”. I ran the DB repair function and got the following message:

    wp_options: Incorrect key file for table './[table_name]/wp_options'; try to repair it

    I do not have a database backup. Can anyone please help me with this? May this have something to do with the attacks against WordPress blogs that my hoster informed me about, a few weeks ago? Thank you!
