wp_options table and _transient_feed

As I was looking in my wp_options table, I somehow inadvertently updated one of the _transient_feed options and have been freaking out! After doing a bit of googling, it seems like a lot of people go ahead and delete these entries anyway. I have no intention of deleting these entries, but was wondering if I made a huge mistake by doing this update.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
