wp_options: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed

  • That is the error message after trying to repair the database.
    When I click on the Blog link in my website or type the link into a browser, I get “Error establishing a Database connection“.
    (This WP org blog is hosted on Yahoo – Yahoo is apparently experiencing outages, but my site is OK, just the blog is not)
    I am (ironically!) about to migrate this blog to InMotionHosting, but I can’t access it. Though I can get into the folders in my control panel.

    (I think the bog was auto-updated to the latest version)
