wp_options: Wrong bytesec: 33- 0- 0 at 3580220; Skipped

  • Got this message: To allow use of this page to automatically repair database problems, please add the following line to your wp-config.php file. Once this line is added to your config, reload this page.

    define(‘WP_ALLOW_REPAIR’, true);

    So I added it.

    Then when trying to log in, got

    The wp_options table is not okay. It is reporting the following error: Table is marked as crashed. WordPress will attempt to repair this table…

    Failed to repair the wp_options table. Error: Wrong bytesec: 33- 0- 0 at 3580220; Skipped

    How do I fix this?

    Try using PHPMYADMIN from your hosting control panel to check and repair that table. If that also fails, then you’ll need to restore your database from a backup.
