• My site is at https://www.totalcarepropertymanagement.com.au and for no reason that I can see the navigation menus went haywire.

I am running WordPress 4.1 with Genesis Theme AgentPress

On investigating further I logged into my host and ran a database repair which delivered the following report:

    [totalcar_tcpm.wp_commentmeta] status: OK
    [totalcar_tcpm.wp_comments] status: OK
[totalcar_tcpm.wp_fpt_images] note: The storage engine for the table doesn’t support repair

[totalcar_tcpm.wp_zem_rp_tags] note: The storage engine for the table doesn’t support repair

The problem seems to be that the wp_postmeta table has been corrupted and a tempfile cannot be created.

Going to phpMyAdmin I discovered that this table has the entry ‘in use’.

On contacting my host, they only got as far as I did before telling me it was a WordPress issue, and not a Database issue.??

Is there anyway this table can be repopulated? The data seems to be there in the wp_posts table, but the pictures are not displaying nor any of the shortcode data.

The navigation menus too, are all gone and any attempt to re-enter data is all to no avail.

I don’t have a recent backup of this database though I’m hoping the host may have. ):

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Or point me in the direction of someone who could help.

  • I’d try changing themes to the default, test, and re-install the Genesis theme.

Here’s an error that the site is throwing.
