    Hello,
a few weeks ago I started to get problems with the backup. It got stuck and did not move a thing. So tried to stop the process, as I had to close the computer and leave.

The main reason for this delay was that apparently the wp_postmeta had too many entries.
I had a look, and indeed, it is massive.

I can’t seem to pinpoint why
there are thousands of lines with “_billing_address_index” and the value “[deleted] [deleted] [deleted] [deleted] [deleted] [deleted] [email protected] +000000000000”
    or
    “_billing_address_1” value “deleted”

and several others, where the value is either deleted or NULL

I have 3825 lines in wp_postmeta and it seems to me that with every backup I took they were nearly doubled

Is there anything I can safely delete or is there a way to find out if it were duplicates?
My shop is not that massive, I might have around 400 items max, and also not thousands of customers.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

    Sabine

    Hi Sabine,

    I hope you are well.

You need to find out which plugin is causing the issue or where all the data is coming from. You can try our other plugin called WP-Optimise to clean up your database.

    Regards,
    Bryle
