wp_read_image_metadata() truncates the title to 64 characters. Workaround?

  • I’ve just realised my media titles are being truncated to 64 characters and upon some var_dump’ing see that it seems to be iptcparse() (in wp_read_image_metadata()) that’s to blame. Window’s file properties shows the full title so I know it’s in the file somewhere…

    Does anyone know how to get around this?

    Any help is appreciated though please don’t suggest the caption field as that’s already being used for longer content (it’s a photojournalist’s site).
