    Hello @megaelements and thanks for reaching out!

    This usually mean the site cannot connect back to itself somehow. Are you using a CDN?

    Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    Looks like 2 possible issues.

    1) Navigate to Cloudflare and Whitelist your site’s IP address.
    Login to Cloudflare
    Go to “Firewall”
    Click the “Firewall Rules” tab
    Click “Create a Firewall rule”
    Name the rule under “Rule Name”
    Set the “Field” under “When incoming requests match…” to “IP Address”
    Enter Your Sites IP under “Value”
    At the bottom, under “Then…Choose an action” change “Block” to “Allow”
    Click “Deploy”

    2) Make sure you have the proper Litespeed settings set as I see you are on a Litespeed Server:

    Once you have all of that in place, try another scan.

    Thank you for your detailed reply I did exactly what is mentioned but nothing changed except that when I paste this in my htaccess file the entire website shuts down error 500.
    I did ping my domain with CMD and add the ip address on Cloudflare.
    Then I copied pate the .htaccess text lines the 503 error problem still exsit in the connection tab in wordfence.
    I did purge cache in every single step, still I cannot perform any scan.

    I want to review it and make sure you have all the correct information. Sometimes an alternate code is needed for Litespeed to work properly.

    It looks ok but you do need the Litespeed no abort code entered for the scan to work. Though, that shouldn’t affect the 503 issues you are seeing.

    I tried to visit your admin-ajax.php but was redirected to the page we are seeing in your diagnostic for wp_remote_post. Try to disable your Cloudflare plugin on your WordPress site and see if this is corrected. You should be able to visit:
    mydomain.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and go directly to a page with a “0” on it.

    When I visit it, it’s redirecting me to a Cloudflare page and then after a pause, sends me to the “0” page. It has to be a plugin that is causing this.

    Thank you for your reply I disabled and removed cloudflare but same thing still

    wp_remote_post() test back to this server failed! Response was: 503 Service Unavailable
    This additional info may help you diagnose the issue. The response headers we received were:

    and the scan button is blued-out not clickable.
    The “vulnerability Scan” icon is Yellow!

    I disabled all plugins except wordfence still the issue is the same.

    what do you suggest I should do?

    Thanks for the help I was able to solve the problem, in a nutshell, the issue was whitelist each IP the appears on the diagnostics page at the “Connecting back to this site” add that to Cloudflare. this is shared hosting so the IP might change.

    Glad you could find the resolution for this!

    I was just looking over your htaccess file and it looks good.

    What happens is, the scan will send a request to our server and then send a packet back to confirm the rules are set. With a CDN in place, the request is sent to the proxy, then to our server, then to the proxy and the proxy kills the connection back to your site. When you whitelist your site’s IP, it allows the connection to go through again.
