wp_rss titles blank

<i> is HTML markup (and deprecated markup, at that) – not RSS/XML. So the issue is really about producing compliant feeds.

Feeds that have <i> should be <i>. You are right the feeds are not compliant. It seems that the Magpie RSS functions will not grab the data. Does anyone have any ideas how to overcome this? I’m running into legitimate feeds I need to display that have this issue.

So my solution was to get the Fetch Feed plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/fetch-feed/) and format my titles as such:

$item_history->title.$item_history->title->i
