wp_schedule_event working only manually

H alli.

I have been trying to fix since quite a while.
I set-up some schedule tasks for a plugin to retrieve some data over the internet.
I also installed Core control to make sure my scheduled task was really scheduled.
I can confirmed it is scheduled and that it works when i run it manually.
What could prevent wordpress not to targeting this task automatically ?
