WPA Storefront Carousel with WP E-Commerce

I’m working on a site that someone else created. I’ve upgraded the site to WP 3.4.2 with WP E-commerce 3.8.8.5 and the person who initially designed the site had the products under posts, but they were setup wrong, with no add to cart button and a bunch of other errors, they were just physical/static posts instead of dynamic products. The WP E-commerce plugin had products but they were no where to be found on the Website, you would see them only by going to the backend > Store > Products. Now, I’ve created categories inside WP E-commcerce and assigned some test products to the categories and I’m trying to display products from within the categories in WP E-commerce in the WPA Storefront carousel, however, I can’t seem to find a way to do it. I’ve went to Theme Options and tried different things with no luck.
