WPAU upgrade stalled – admin problem

    I tried using WPAU (WordPress Auto Upgrade plug-in) to go from 2.3.2 to the latest version but it stalled at the upgrade.php point. I got the screen telling me to click the upgrade link and then nothing happened – it stalled, breaking my site. I was able to go in and load the backup which restored my site but my admin screen is still unreachable.

    So, two problems:

    – how do I get the admin screen working again? I would love to post to my blog!

    – what could have been the original problem that stalled the upgrade? How will I stop it from happening again (once I try to upgrade again, when my admin is back up)

    I have already checked the db_version and it is 6124 (2.3.2 which is correct, I believe) but I don’t know what else to do now, or why it did this.
