WPB2D: not possible to choose day/time of backup

Is you blogs timezone set correctly? It could be that it differs to your timezone hence the confusion.

The day and time you see in the options will match that of your blogs timezone setting.

timezone is set correctly.
the plugin still does not work at all.

it is impossible to plan an backup – the plugin always shows thursday 0:00, weekly but does not accept this time nor any other i choose for backup planning … it still says i had not planned any backup.

It makes me sad when people post bad reviews before I can get to the bottom of the issue for them. Your issue is very peculiar to your circumstances and I have no other reports of the problem so I am interested to know what’s up!

When you save, do you get any errors in your PHP error logs?
What version of PHP and WordPress are you using?
Have the WPB2D database tables installed correctly?

i apologize for maybe having been to impatient.

what i found out until now is that there was a conflict with another plugin (cleanFix). after deactivating the other plugin scheduling a backup with wpb2d was possible.

unfortunately this only brought me to the next problem: i scheduled a backup for last night but obviously it did not do anything. there is no entry in the backup log and no backup in my dropbox.

i also tried a manual backup (yesterday, before scheduling) which started but then stopped (well, i stopped it after not going on for a while). see log entries:

15:24:29: There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.
15:18:46: There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.
14:25:43: Creating SQL backup of your WordPress plugins.
14:25:43: Creating SQL backup of your WordPress core.
14:25:21: Your time limit is unlimited and your memory limit is 90M
14:25:21: Backup started on Wednesday June 5, 2013.

i am using wordpress 3.5.1, php 5.2.17
there are 4 wpb2d tables in the database.

Good to hear that you got your settings saved.

Ok now it looks like you are having issues uploading the file to Dropbox. This could be due to a fatal error or a server issue.

Can I take a look at your WordPress admin? If so, shoot some credentials to [email protected]

I have several plugins installed. Can anyone tell me which of these is likely to affect my ability to schedule a backup? It’s to do with wp-cron I believe.
