wpcf7_posted_data with Recaptcha

  • Using the wpcf7_posted_data hook to add some fields into my form from the post it originates from.

    It works fine when I disable the re captcha integration, however as soon as I enable it I get an error saying it cannot send the message.

    I understand the wpcf7_posted_data hook runs before the re captcha, but why would it stop it completely sending?

    Any ideas for a fix?

    Update : If I use this hook to only update the recipient email address it works no problem, however to update any fields in the body of the email it stops it and says it cannot send the message.
