WP.com user doesn’t gain stats permissions that I granted

  • I run a webcomic, powered by WordPress, together with my friend. Like I did with my main blog, I hooked it up with WordPress.com Stats. Since my friend is also an author, I got her to sign up for a WordPress.com account and granted her account permission to view the site stats.

    However, when she visits the site’s Dashboard, the Stats widget is still absent, and when I give her the direct link to see the stats, WordPress.com says she does not have permissions even though she is logged in. I have deactivated, reactivated and reentered my API key, but to no avail.

    Did I miss out on any crucial steps?

  • similar problem here. my co-editor doesn’t see a link to the stats at the dashboard.
    i didn’t know that he will need to create an own wordpress.com-account though. but the message from BoltClock reads like that wouldn’t change the problem with the login anyhow.
