wpdiscuz and toc plus not appearing on post

I am fairly new and cant fix this problem. I have seen many similar posts but none of the suggested solutions work and I running short of hours now for working on a fix. I am using elementor pro with astra theme. I have toc plus and wpdiscuz plugins. They work perfectly on single page but I cant get either to appear on the post template that I created. As two plugins are not working I assuming its a setting problem but I cant find it. All help much appreciated.
