wpDiscuz Support for Ratings?

    Hi Brecht –

    Thanks for working overtime to make v1.1.0 happen! I just installed WP Recipe Maker at eatingrules.com and I’m loving it so far. Here’s a sample (old!) recipe that I just switched from Easy Recipe: https://eatingrules.com/healthy-crab-cakes/

    I have the wpDiscuz commenting plugin installed (which I love), but it seems the new ratings-in-comments feature isn’t showing up automatically. Would you mind taking a look and seeing if there’s an easy way to get them to work with wpDiscuz comments? (And I totally get that “Compatibility with wpDiscuz” could be a premium feature…).

    Hi Andrew,

    I’ll look into compatibility with wpDiscuz! I want the core features to work for everyone, so I’ll probably just add that to the free version.

    Hey Brecht –

    At this point, the integration/compatibility with ratings and wpDiscuz is the only thing keeping me from fully migrating to WP Recipe Maker.

    I know this is probably a less-common need than most of the things on your roadmap, so I’d be happy to contribute some funds to “sponsor” the development of this functionality/compatibility. Let me know what you think? ??

    Could you try replacing the /includes/public/class-wprm-comment-rating.php file with this one and see if it works then?
