WpDiscuz + Ultimate Member “Member” to ‘Author’ for Image Upload to Work

    Im using Ultimate Member + WpDiscuz, both latest versions…

    When a UM “Member” is logged in they cannot see icon for image upload in WpwDiscuz comments section … unless >>>
    I make them dual role in WP edit user area, to incl Author (WP default) then it shows in comments and upload works fine.
    What is the best practice to adjust this so icon & function works?
    Has anyone had this problem and have any solutions thanks.

    1. Do I make all “Members’ the same Member/Author?
    2. Do I make all ‘Members’ role ‘Author’?
    3. Give UM ‘Member’ Role Priority number?
    4. Ive tried giving all priorities temporarily to ‘Member’ to no avial

    Please note: the default “Attach an image” button is only available for the post, pages, and attachments post types, and for default WordPress user roles. For custom post types and custom user roles, the button is not accessible. For more advanced features, we recommend to check out the wpDiscuz Media Uploader add-on.
