    Hey Jacob,

Yes this is indeed a good idea and one that I had toyed with in the past.
I was hoping to finish implementing this once the long-awaited 3.8 version of WP eCommerce comes out since this will completely alter the internal DB structure I think.

If you can wait then that’s grand… if not the please feel free to let me know if you’d be willing to sponsor this for the current build.

    Hey-

I have a client that needs a bulk upload of coupon codes.

He’ll pay for it. How do I get in touch with you?

    Hey helloari,

Um, nope does it’s not been updated for 3,8… but I think 3.8 has it’s own bulk uploader. If this does not do what you need then let me know whatit’s lacking and I can look into it.

    Ta,
    Todd

wpec 3.8 doesn’t have much in the way of bulk edits when viewing all products. but I see it has a csv importer that is one of the main features your plugin provides.

for anyone shopping around there are these tools:

    https://www.webgility.com
    this is not free

    https://www.storeapps.org/
    this has a free version

i just made a blog post with more details…

best of luck to WPEC hackers out there… there is a steep learning curve but it’s a great tool.

Thanks for the info helloair… goood write up.

I’d be interested to know if you think that bulk management (such as price setting across a category) would be a useful feature… if so perhaps I can put some time into updating the WPEC Bulk Tools to do this.

    Ta,
    Todd

i’m not sure that price setting across a category would be useful to my current customer. but in general bulk edits that can reduce the number of clicks is welcome. the storeapp software seems to promise that in spades but i have not tried it yet.
