WPFolio 1.7 customization questions

  • I’m working on a site that uses wpfolio 1.7 and have a number of questions regarding customization.

    1. template options refuses to save. problem is described here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wpfolio-17-theme-options-refuses-to-save?replies=1#post-2062479

    2. can’t seem to override colors for h1 and navigation (possibly related 1?). no matter what css tags i tried, they stay the colors defined in the template options that i can’t change because it doesn’t want to save… :S
    most likely I’m overlooking something stupidly simple…

    3. posts in anything but the blog category do not show a page title at the top. what’s the best way to re-introduce those?

    any hints at where to find answers to these questions would be greatly appreciated ??

    i’m currently running the setup locally on mac (and update to the latest version of wp when i do)

    1 & 2 have meanwhile been solved (they were related to a problem with saving theme options in Chrome)

    Remaining: 3 ??
